Don and Rich were frequent visitors
to the Big Island for years before we decided to reduce our traveling expenses and just stay here for good!
Rich
retired after 26 years at Verizon in Washington DC, where he last served as Executive Director of Federal Regulatory Affairs.
He can now usually be found puttering around the house or working on his tan at a local beach.
Don is an Information
Technologies and Networking specialist who has worked for a variety of organizations, including non-profits, a trade union,
a major computer graphics company, several consulting firms and a County government. In his non-working hours in Hawaii, he
likes to garden at Ohia Grove and at our permanent residence around the corner.
Our jobs on the mainland
involved extensive travel, so when we set up our vacation rental, we based it on our experiences. We've worked to set up a
Cottage that is comfortable, convenient, cozy -- and moderately priced. We hope you'll enjoy your stay and come to love the
Big Island as much as we do. Aloha!
